SahabatAir
SahabatAir — home plumbing professionals in Kuala Lumpur

A Home Plumbing Service
Built on Honest Work

SahabatAir was set up to give KL households a plumber they could call without worry — one who shows up, explains what is happening, and charges what was agreed.

How SahabatAir Came About

The name comes from a simple idea: air, Malay for water, and sahabat, meaning a trusted companion. When plumbing goes wrong at home — a drain backs up, a tap starts dripping, a basin needs replacing — the experience of finding a reliable tradesperson is often more stressful than the fault itself.

SahabatAir was started in Kuala Lumpur by a pair of trade professionals who had worked for larger contractors and seen first-hand how household clients were often left without clear information about what was wrong or what it would cost to put right. They believed a smaller, more focused operation could do things differently.

The company now handles three core services — a diagnostic house visit, drain clearing, and wet-room refits — keeping the scope narrow enough to do each one properly. Every job ends with a written summary and a confirmed price before work starts.

Our Mission

To make it straightforward for any KL household to understand their plumbing situation and act on it with confidence — without unexpected charges or pressure to agree to work on the spot.

What We Stand By

  • Transparency first. Every price is stated before work begins. No additions without your agreement.
  • Written records. Every visit produces a document you can keep, share with a landlord, or refer to later.
  • Focused scope. We do three things well rather than fifteen things adequately.
  • Respectful visits. The technician tidies the work area before leaving and communicates in Bahasa Malaysia or English.

How We Maintain Standards

The practices that keep our work consistent, safe, and worth recommending.

Written Work Summaries

Every visit produces a written record of what was inspected, what was done, and any notes the customer may want to keep on file. Provided at no additional charge.

Pre-Confirmed Pricing

Prices for each service are published and confirmed at booking. No additional charges are added without agreement from the customer beforehand.

Prepared and Equipped

Technicians arrive with the tools and materials typically needed for the booked service. This reduces the chance of a return visit for straightforward jobs.

Safe Working Practices

Water isolation is confirmed before any fitting work. The technician checks for leaks and tests flow before leaving. The work area is tidied on completion.

Vetted Technicians Only

All field staff have residential plumbing experience and are personally known to the founders. We do not use unknown contractors or day labour for customer visits.

Customer Data Handled Carefully

Contact and address details are used only to arrange and follow up on bookings. We do not share customer information with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Plumbing Services Across Kuala Lumpur

Household plumbing problems in the Klang Valley tend to share common patterns — shower drains that slow over months before backing up entirely, kitchen taps that develop a persistent drip, bathroom basins that have not been replaced since the apartment was first fitted out. SahabatAir was designed specifically around these recurring situations.

The diagnostic visit is a useful starting point when a homeowner or tenant is not sure what is causing a problem. Rather than guessing or paying for unnecessary repairs, the household gets a clear picture of their plumbing first. The written summary produced at the end of each diagnostic can also be useful when reporting maintenance issues to a landlord or property manager.

Drain clearing is one of the most common calls we receive. Hair and soap build-up in shower drains is a gradual process, and many households find that by the time water is pooling noticeably, the blockage has developed significantly inside the trap. The SahabatAir drain clearing service addresses both the trap and the surrounding fixture, leaving the drain flowing properly and the area clean.

The kitchen and bathroom refit option suits households making a practical update to two wet rooms in a single appointment. Replacing an old kitchen sink and tap alongside a bathroom basin and mixer in one coordinated visit means less disruption and a single agreed price for both areas of work.

SahabatAir operates across Kuala Lumpur residential districts including Damansara, Bangsar, Mont Kiara, Chow Kit, Cheras, Sri Petaling, and Kepong. Appointments are available Monday to Saturday between 8 AM and 6 PM, with same-week slots typically available for standard bookings.
